Day 3

 We travelled an hour into country- beautiful green field, cattle and horses.  Almost all our people Spanish speaking so thankful for translators. Stopped for ice cream on the way home. First day of temps in the 80’s

Day 1 Let’s get ready!

 We woke to a steady rain and overcast skies. A breakfast of eggs and bacon was enjoyed before starting our morning work. Suitcases with 3500 pairs of glasses had to be unpacked and sorted; supplies for each day were separated. Although some of our team had clinic experience, we all needed to practice the testing and distribution. We laughed as we learned.
